Nothing exciting today so just a couple of observations. The kite festival awarded various prizes to participants, but to me the big winner was the local guy who dragged out cars stuck in the soft sand. While watching kites we saw various vehicles from cars to motor homes waiting for someone to free them. He reminded me of the guy at the Texas State Fair who makes his annual income in two weeks selling corny dogs. One of the first things you learn here driving on the beach is to stay on the hard packed sand.
We went to the Indian casino for their cheap dinner. Their restaurant faces on to the beach. The main objective was to cross another bar off my list. At dinner Terry noted that at every single table, the woman was looking at the beach and the man had his back to the beach. I couldn't confirm this since she was looking at the beach and my back was to the beach, but I took her word for it. I told her, "That's because the woman wants to look at the beach and the man wants to live."
