Day 12 - Ocean Shores, WA - 2640 Miles

I've got the Tsunami evacuation route down now. However given we are on a seven mile peninsula that is serviced by a single two-lane road, I think the most appropriate evacuation plan was expressed on an Ocean Shores Tsunami Plan T-shirt - "Run Like Hell."

If you happen to be keeping score at home, you can cross Mariah's off of my beer-per-bar list. We chose it because we saw they had special dinners for old farts on Thursdays. Couple with that the fact that if you eat in the lounge you also get Happy Hour beer prices and they had made an offer we couldn't refuse. It seems we weren't alone. We were in a bar packed with old farts having cheap drinks and cheap dinners at 4:30 in the afternoon.

I may have to rethink my pace for hitting every bar in town. I never would have suspected it, but it appears that nightly beers and bar food are having an adverse affect on my weight loss plans. I'm going to have to start throwing a few Subway dinners in there.
